A clean, geometric visual identity designed to anchor a historic-inspired restaurant concept.
The Context & Challenge
“The Old Factory,” a Myrtleford-based dining destination, needed a versatile and modern visual identity that honored its heritage without feeling dated. The primary challenge was to create a highly adaptable logo design that would maintain its crisp, professional impact across both tactile print materials and responsive website environments.

The Creative Solution
To achieve a timeless aesthetic, I developed a typography-led design system grounded in minimalist principles and stark contrast. The primary logo features a sharp, geometric silhouette of the factory roofline to establish immediate architectural context, while the secondary circular badge provides a compact alternative for varied marketing assets. By stripping away excess detail and restricting the palette to strict black and white, the resulting identity prioritizes structure and professional clarity.
Key Deliverables
- Primary Logo Design: An architectural, geometric lockup designed for dominant placements like signage and website headers.
- Secondary Brand Mark: A versatile, typography-focused circular badge ideal for social media avatars, stamps, and packaging.
- Brand Identity Guidelines: Core rules for deploying the minimalist, black-and-white aesthetic across digital and print mediums.
