KUFA | Structural Brand Identity for Modern Furniture

KUFA is a versatile furniture company specializing in modular shelving, beds, desks, and essential household storage solutions, including metal kitchen and bathroom racks. The objective was to create a visual identity that communicates stability, efficiency, and industrial precision.

The Design Philosophy

In line with my specialty in clean and geometric systems, the KUFA identity is built on the concept of “The Frame.” The design draws direct inspiration from the Bauhaus movement, where form follows function.

• Geometric Symbolism: The primary mark is a custom wordmark where the letterforms are constructed using uniform line weights, reflecting the metal tubing and structural frames of the company’s shelving units.
• Minimalist Execution: By utilizing a grid-based approach, the logo design conveys a sense of modularity and organization—essential traits for a brand focused on storage and household order.
• Professional Color Palette: The identity utilizes a “Steel Industrial” palette of deep charcoal and cool slate, accented by a structural white, ensuring a modern and high-end feel that resonates with contemporary homeowners.

Key Deliverables:

• Logo Design: A high-impact, geometric wordmark optimized for legibility on both digital platforms and physical product branding.
• Visual Identity System: A cohesive framework that prioritizes symmetry and professional clarity across all marketing assets.
• Typography & Grid System: A structured layout for product catalogs and manuals that emphasizes a clean and organized user experience.
• Digital Brand Assets: Optimized files for the website and social media, ensuring the brand maintains a strong portfolio presence online.

Technical Stack: This project was meticulously executed using Adobe Illustrator for vector precision and Adobe Photoshop for professional product mockups.
